Update: The day after Mayor Zohran Mamdani in New York announced a moratorium on student-facing generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) use in schools, alongside a new screen time policy. The policy establishes a one-year moratorium on student-facing generative AI for children in 2-K through 8th grade. It also introduces twice-yearly AI critical thinking modules for high schoolers, and limited AI pilots for a small number of high school classrooms.
We made a booklet of "poetic texts" illustrated by AI. This does, of course, become a diverse collection where the discussions around how the images were created, made these examples even more interesting.

The Polish multi-artist Józef Szajna caught may attention. Szajna was born in Rzeszow, and an attic theatre in his hometown is specially adapted to house a permanent exhibition of his works. Unfortunately the theatre is renovated, but thanks to our local host I was given a nice book with a thorough presentation of Szajna's work.
In context of my workshop in Rzeszow, Szajna's installation works are examples of art which is probably pretty much immune to the use of AI. During my workshop many of the students made works that were visually stunning, but in two dimensions only. AI can of course be used to make temporal media, and even in 3D, but not the complex interplay between a number of physical objects in space.
